WHAT IS READY CAMP?
READY Camp is a supportive community of women on a journey to achieve both physical and emotional wellness together. Designed for women of all ages, ability levels, and fitness backgrounds, this program will prepare you to achieve success toward your fitness and nutrition goals.
The camp includes programming that focuses on both strength and cardiovascular components that are fully scalable to all athletic levels. Each week we will meet for two 60 minute training sessions that will incorporate a variety of movements and workouts to keep it fun. On the second day of the week, we will be joined by a nutrition consultant for a 30 minute seminar focused on how to incorporate sustainable, real food options into your life, and in conjunction with your new fitness routine. The goal is that at the end of the 6 week program, you will be prepared to achieve success in the continuation of your new fitness regimen, and in the kitchen!
Access to instructors and group support via the READY Camp Facebook Page throughout the camp are included.
READY CAMP SCHEDULE & DETAILS
WHEN: The Spring 6-week session begins April 7th, 2020. READY Camp will be held 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, with an extra 30 minutes focused on Nutrition on each Thursday.
WHAT: Week 1 will focus on assessing all individual members needs and ability levels as well as creating baselines to optimize our training sessions together. Weeks 2-6 will focus on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to master the basic movements for continued functional fitness.
WHERE: READY Camp is held at CrossFit GP, a fully equipped 4,000 sqft training facility, located at 337 Union Avenue, Grants Pass, OR 97527.
COST: Each participant’s $230 registration fee covers the cost of 12 group classes, nutrition consulting, access to your coaches in and outside of the gym via text/email/ and the private READY Camp Facebook group, a READY Camp t-shirt, and journals to track your individual workouts and progress throughout our 6 weeks together.

Lindsey Violette, Head Coach, READY Camp
Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, Wife, Mother, Athlete.
Coach Lindsey grew up in Grants Pass and continues to make the area her home as she and her husband raise their 4 girls. Hobbies include football, soccer, softball, hiking, baking and CrossFit.
Lindsey enjoys volunteer work through Junior Achievement, the Pregnancy Care Center and Vineyard Christian School.
Lindsey joined CrossFit GP almost 3 years ago and found herself thriving in the positive and encouraging atmosphere. She frequently shares how intimidated she was to first start the sport, but once she joined CrossFit GP, she discovered her passion and wishes she would have started sooner!

Leslee Heater, Asst. Coach
Busy Mom, Business Owner, Athlete.
Mother of four who has always prioritized leading her family as a role model for healthy and active living.
Leslee started her fitness journey at home like many busy women do, juggling her work schedule and kids with workout dvds and at-home training programs. From there she became a casual runner and finally a crossfitter who is now excited to share her passion for CrossFit with other women, moms and daughters alike. Look for her to be a perfect compliment to head coach Lindsey’s technical skill and formal training.
Matthew Swanson, Nutrition
Owner/Head Coach Crossfit GP, Dad, Athlete, Adventurer, and Food Lover.
Owner and Head Coach, Matthew Swanson, comes from an intense mixed martial arts background and has been an avid outdoor enthusiast his entire life. Coach Matt was first exposed to functional HIIT style workouts in 2006, then formally to Crossfit in 2011, and has been passionate about the sport ever since. As a devoted father, Matt is always looking for ways to add the “family atmosphere” to our gym and finds that there is nothing more satisfying than seeing our members connect and create the lasting bonds of fitness friendships. Matt writes all of the weekly programming, heads up our morning classes, the occasional afternoon and evening class, and co-produces our specialty classes with the help of several of our other very qualified coaching staff. Additionally, Matt is our in-house nutrition consultant. He works one-on-one with our members to help them reach their goals, be it through creating individualized plans for weight loss, nutrition optimization, and/or fueling for performance.
Matt will join READY Camp for 30 minutes each week to discuss nutrition and how to incorporate the right foods at the right time to support your individual lifestyle and fitness routine.
