S.O. THROWDOWN!

Updates:

I want to thank all of the volunteers and judges.  We could not have pulled off this event without them.

Registration will be available from 5pm-7pm Friday 2/1, and 7am-7:20am Saturday 2/2.  

*****Every athlete must fill out a waiver before they can compete.*****

Event 1 will consist of 6 heats of 3 teams and 1 heat of 2 teams.  Event 2 will be 5 heats of 4 team (event 2 will take over 2.5hrs to complete-plan accordingly-lunch???).  Event 3 will be 4 heats of 5 teams, and event 4 is scheduled to be 4 heats of 5 teams.

***FULL DISCLOSURE ALERT***  A request has been made to borrow some 45lb metal plate weights.  What could it mean??  If you have some that we could borrow for Saturday, February 2nd please email chris@crossfitgp.com.  We intend to reveal the workouts by next Thursday.  Stay tuned.  Some strategy will be required.

We have a total of TWENTY teams entered.  Expect the day to go until 5:30pm.  A little longer than originally planned, but perfect timing to strap on the feed bag after the awards ceremony.

To guarantee that we get the correct T Shirt sizes and that everyone gets a shirt for the SO Throwdown we need your teams to register by  FRIDAY, January 18, 2013!

The Event takes place at CrossFit GP on Satruday, February 2nd.

This is a co-ed team event.  Teams are comprised of 2 men and 2 women.

This event will focus on participation for competitors of all levels.  The events will be challenging while requiring a fairly low skill level compared to most CF events.  Even thought the skill requirements will be low there will be plenty of opportunity for firebreathers to show their stuff.
